Grilled Peaches and Cream

Summer means all things bar-b-que … tri-tip, veggies, grilled peaches. Yep, peaches!

Nothing like a sweet, tangy peach, the juice dripping down your chin, wiping it with the back of your hand before dunking in the pool for a dusk swim.

Our family is currently obsessed with grilling peaches, especially if there is cream involved. Add a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream and call it a perfect dessert.

Nothing says summer like grilled peaches.

Ingredients:

  • 4 peaches, halved and pitted
  • 2 tablespoons clover honey
  • 1 cup soft cream cheese with honey and nuts
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar

Wash peaches and halve them

Scoop softened creme cheese in a bowl and mix honey in

Brush peaches with a light coating of oil

Sprinkle dark brown sugar on peaches to bring out the sweetness

Place peaches pit down on the grill for 5 minutes or until peaches have nice grill marks

Spoon a dollop of cream cheese mixture into center of the peach. Grill for 2-3 more minutes

  1. My tummy is growling! Im stealing this recipe and I need that cookie recipe too! Did I tell you Bry and I cooked the second half dozen and ate them all to ourselves! We’re terrible I know, but they were sooooooo good!
